ARU is added buttons.

I saw the comment from Kent.

I agreed his opinion, UI is a little difficult to use.

I didn't solved button issue, before his comments.

I tried change the code, and fixed.

So UI was some changed.

User push the "Map button" and then map will be pops up.

Map has three buttons. (Marker, Map, Min)

Please upgrade and enjoy it!

Map blank issue was fixed.

Issue caused from unauthorized MAP API.

I changed authorized MAP API using keytool.

Version 1.0.3 was fine.

Please update !

Version 1.0.1 was overlay address with map if address is too long.

It's fixed long address issue in version 1.0.2.

ARU manual

After touch the "ARU", you can see camera preview having 3D grid and marker, google map.

Press the menu button in G1, menu would be appear.

menu has 4 item : map, marker, about, exit.

map has 2 sub menu : map type, map appearance.

map type has 2 status : satellite, map.

map appearance has 2 status : hide, show.

marker menu can change to editable map using marker.

If user select marker menu and then touch the map in arbitrary area,

map show driving path from his position(green marker) to touch point(red marker).

At the same time, 3D Red marker and path will be appear on grid.

If user move G1 phone seeing camera,

Path and marker also move to thier position.

ARU view structure

OpenGL + Camera view + Google map + Overlay + Menu

Overlay crashed each other with button in the same code.

Functions of Button were replaced to menu.

And overlay crashed with the code of rotational map, too.

Rotational map was not selected. Actually, Rotational map is some confused to see where here are.

And rotated map as 180 degree has reversed touch point.

Touch point has to be rotated in map at the same time.

Overlay with button and rotational map is not applied yet.

This is a screen shot of ARU.

It is running in android G1 phone.

The screen of G1 has google map and 3D grid, marker through camera preview image.

What is ARU?

ARU means Augmented Reality for you.

It is developed for searching path in real situation.

It is an android mobile Software.

I used components of GPS, Camera, Sensor, OpenGL, Google Map.

You can see driving path in camera view with google map.
